The Digital Security Council becomes a member of DIFO

Monday April 26th, 2021, the Danish Internet Forum (DIFO) held a board meeting where the Council for Digital Security was admitted as a member of DIFO.

The Council for Digital Security is an independent member organization, that has specialized knowledge as well as experience in both information security and privacy protection.

The council was founded in 2012, and they work to encourage a safe and free digital society for all. They want a strong digital society, that focuses on data confidentiality, accessibility, integrity, and a high degree of data accountability.

Henrik Udsen, Chairman of the Board of DIFO, welcomes the Council and looks forward to the collaboration: “We are pleased that the Council for Digital Security is now part ofDIFO. Security in the use of .dk domain names is absolutely central to DIFO, and the Council will be able to make a significant contribution, just as we hope that DIFO and DK Hostmaster can contribute to the council's work”.
