DK Hostmaster and DIFO have entered into a partnership with authorities and private Internet companies in the fight against financial cybercrime.
The first step was taken in April where 36 various organizations met to discuss how to break the curve of crime committed on Danish websites. A number of initiatives were identified at the workshop including increased collaboration, knowledge sharing and optimization of processes.
One of the challenges for especially smaller police districts have been identifying information about who is behind a website and who has registered the domain name. Therefore, DK Hostmaster has created a guide to what information we hold and how to find them.
