From May 2017 the e-mark is a new member of DIFO (Danish Internet Forum).
The e-mark is a non-profit organisation, who represents more than 2200 Danish companies working with e-commerce. The e-mark certifies the good web-shops and equips thereby the consumer to shop online.
At DIFO secure e-commerce and consumer protection are very high priorities and therefore we are happy to welcome the e-mark, because they are guarantors for a safe and transparent e-commerce on the Danish internet.
“DIFO strives every day to ensure a free, secure and accessible internet for the users on the Danish part of the internet. The e-mark who continuously helps the internet users, can therefore contribute very positive to the further development of DIFO’s focus on consumer protection” says chairman of the board in DIFO, Henrik Udsen.
Common effort against internet crime
DIFO and the e-mark has many common goals and the e-mark also looks forward to the future cooperation with DIFO.
“At the e-mark we work for a safe internet where consumers and webshops can cooperate – for the benefit of all of us. In collaboration with DIFO we now get the possibility to strive even more towards this mission, which in the latest years has been challenged by foreign it frauds. This effort we wish to contribute to” says CEO at the e-mark Jesper Arp-Hansen.
DIFO consists of members from the Danish internet society who either represent the suppliers, the professional users or the private users. The e-mark will be representing the professional users.
Organisations who represent an important part of the Danish internet society can become a member of DIFO. DIFO’s members participate in the determination of the political and strategic direction for the administration of the .dk domain and chooses the board of the association.
