Danish Energy Association joins DIFO

Another important organisation has joined DIFO (Danish Internet Forum), who thereby strengthens its position in the Danish internet society.

DIFO is happy to welcome Danish Energy Association as a new member of DIFO.

DIFO consists of members from the Danish internet society, who either is represented by suppliers, private users or professional users. Danish Energy Association will be a member representing professional users.

It is crucial to DIFO that the Danish internet society is widely represented in the association and therefore the membership of Danish Energy Association is very good news to DIFO.

“To DIFO it is very important that we are widely represented. I am very satisfied and happy that Danish Energy Association wishes to be a member of DIFO and we are looking forward to the cooperation”, says Henrik Udsen, chairman of DIFO.

Thomas Woldiderich, Branch Manager for telecommunications policy in Danish Energy Association says:

“DIFO has a central position in the large system used by millions of Danish citizens, companies and public organisations every day – the Internet. That’s why we are very happy to become a member. The Danish energy companies who are behind a new and future-proof digital infrastructure, the fiber net, today represent an important part of the Danish internet society.”

Organisations, who represent an important part of the Danish internet society can become a member of DIFO. The members can influence and advice DIFO in political and strategic matters and thereby influence the direction for the .dk domain and they can vote and run for membership of the board.

DIFO’s members includes a range of central organisations and associations in the Danish internet society.
